an intimate embrace in which she surrounds and penetrates,

evoking primordial peace and joy

beyond words.

In her waters, I am my truest self

and she knows this, so does not want

to let me go.

I feel her pain when it is time to leave,

and I wonder, is she as haunted by my absence

as I am by hers?
